In this article, “Older brain really maybe a wiser brain”, by Sara Reistad-long, which appeared in New York Times on May 20, 2008, the author talks about the older brain accepts and processes the information better. According to the research, older brain tends to receive more information than young brain and tries to choose necessary information, so it’s a smart brain. Actually, from my perspective, it’s a surprised theory that it’s hard to accept because everybody thinks that older people can’t think a lot and their brain activate weakly. However, it could be a true theory that explains why older people have good answers for any difficult situations. Moreover, in the past, in the tribes, people usually chose older people to lead and choose the answers for the whole tribe. Therefore, I think this theory is true and it has been proved from the past to now.
